I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the crew for the 2023 Ice Hockey World Cup in Mexico, working with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Being involved in such a prestigious event allowed me to witness the sport’s growth in Mexico firsthand, while contributing to its organization and success, helping international teams with logistics, providing translation services and administrative support to ice hockey teams. It was an unforgettable experience to work alongside passionate professionals and see the excitement of international competition up close.
I worked with Mexico's Ice Hockey Federation in Quebec, Canada, where I was responsible for managing social media content and broadcasting World Cup matches. This opportunity allowed me to help expand the sport’s reach by engaging with fans and sharing the excitement of the tournament. Being part of the federation gave me a deeper understanding of the dedication required to promote ice hockey and bring international events to a broader audience.
I had the valuable opportunity to be part of a Model United Nations (MUN) conference in Mexico, where I served as the Chair of the General Assembly Committee. In this role, I was responsible for guiding debates, ensuring proper procedure, and facilitating discussions on global issues. This experience allowed me to develop my leadership and diplomacy skills while engaging with passionate delegates. Being part of MUN reinforced my appreciation for international relations and the importance of structured dialogue in addressing worldwide challenges.

ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals for America) at Clemson University, is a group dedicated to empowering and developing Latino leaders in the professional world. Through their networking events, professional development workshops, and mentorship programs, ALPFA provides valuable resources to help everyone but especially Latino students and professionals, advance in their careers. Attending these events allowed me to gain industry insights, connect with inspiring professionals, and learn more about the importance of Latino representation in the workforce.
