ACCT-2010: Financial or Managerial Accounting Concepts

In this course, I learned fundamental accounting principles, including financial statement analysis, cost management, and budgeting. Through practical exercises, I applied accounting concepts to assess financial performance, allocate resources, and support managerial decision-making.

MKT- 3010: Principles of Marketing

In this course, I gained insights into marketing strategies, market research, and consumer engagement. By analyzing real-world marketing campaigns, I learned how businesses create value, build brand identity, and develop customer relationships.  

ECON-2110: Principles of MicroEconomics

In this course, I studied market structures, consumer behavior, and firm decision-making, applying microeconomic principles to real-world scenarios. Using supply and demand analysis, I evaluated market outcomes and explored how businesses and individuals respond to incentives. 

ECON-2120: Principles of Macroeconomics

In this course, I explored economic indicators such as GDP, inflation, and unemployment, examining their impact on national and global economies. Through case studies, I analyzed government policies, monetary systems, and economic fluctuations to understand macroeconomic stability and growth. 

MGT- 2010: Principles of Management

In this course, I studied leadership, organizational structures, and business operations. By applying management theories, I learned how to improve decision-making, enhance team performance, and develop effective business strategies.  

MKT-3210: Sports Marketing

In this course, I explored the principles and strategies of marketing within the sports industry. I learned how to analyze fan behavior, build brand partnerships, and develop promotional campaigns tailored to sports organizations, teams, and events.

Through real-world presentations, I gained insights into sponsorship, media rights, and digital engagement strategies that drive success in the global sports market.

MKT-3020: Consumer Behavior

In this course, I examined the psychological, social, and cultural factors influencing consumer decisions. Through case studies, I applied behavioral theories to understand purchasing patterns, brand loyalty, and marketing effectiveness. 

MKT-4270: International Marketing

In this course, I explored global marketing strategies, cultural adaptation, and market entry tactics. Through case studies, I examined how companies expand internationally, navigate cultural differences, and tailor marketing efforts for diverse global markets.  

ECON-3100: International Economics

In this course, I analyzed global trade theories, exchange rate systems, and international economic policies. Using economic models, I assessed the effects of globalization, trade agreements, and financial markets on international business and economic development.

ECON- 3060: Managerial Economics

In this course, I applied microeconomic principles to business decision-making, focusing on

demand analysis, production and cost functions, pricing strategies, and market

structures. Through case studies and problem-solving exercises, I learned to use

economic models and quantitative methods to optimize business strategies and improve managerial decision-making.

MGT-3030: International Business

In this course, I examined the challenges and opportunities of conducting business in a

globalized economy. I learned about international trade theories, foreign market entry strategies, cultural influences on business, and the impact of economic and political environments on global operations. I developed strategic insights into managing international business activities and navigating cross-cultural interactions by working on a real work project analysis.

MGT-4000: Organizational Behavior

In this course, I examined workplace dynamics, motivation, and team collaboration. Through case studies and role-playing exercises, I applied behavioral theories to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.  

Spanish Courses

SPAN-4160: Spanish for International Business II

In this course I expanded my knowledge of business Spanish by mastering

advanced vocabulary, industry-specific terminology, and professional

communication strategies. I analyzed case studies, I deepened my understanding

of cultural nuances, negotiation techniques, and professional etiquette in

Spanish-speaking markets.

SPAN- 3160: Spanish for International Business I

In this course, I learned specialized vocabulary and communication strategies for conducting business in Spanish-speaking markets. Through case studies and simulations, I developed skills in business correspondence, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication.  

SPAN- 4090: Comprehend Writing in Spanish

In this course I developed advanced reading and writing skills in Spanish, analyzing complex texts and refining my ability to construct well-organized, coherent essays. Through in-depth discussions and written exercises, I enhanced my comprehension and critical thinking in academic and professional contexts.  

SPAN 3020: Intermediate Spanish Grammar & Composition

In this course, I strengthened my Spanish grammar and composition skills, focusing on sentence structure, verb conjugations, and writing coherence. By composing essays and engaging in peer reviews, I improved my ability to express ideas clearly and effectively in Spanish.  

SPAN-3080: The Hispanic World: LATAM

In The Hispanic World of Latin America, I explored the history, culture, and social dynamics of Latin America through literature, film, and academic texts. I

analyzed key historical events, cultural expressions, and contemporary issues to

gain a deeper understanding of the region’s diversity and global influence.

Discussions and written assignments helped me develop critical perspectives on Latin American identities, traditions, and societal changes.

SPAN-3130: Spanish Lit Survey I

In this course, I explored key literary movements, authors, and novels from the

12th century. Through critical analysis, discussions, and written reflections, I

deepened my understanding of Spain’s evolving literary traditions and their

connection to historical, social, and cultural developments.

LAIB- 4000: Language & International Business Intern

In this course, I applied my language and business knowledge in a real-world professional setting, gaining hands-on experience in an international business environment. By working on cross-cultural projects and communicating in a foreign language, I enhanced my adaptability and professional skills.

SPAN-3060: Spanish Composition for Business

In this course, I developed business writing skills in Spanish, focusing on reports, proposals, and professional correspondence. By analyzing real-world business cases, I learned how to craft persuasive and culturally appropriate documents for Spanish-speaking markets.  

SPAN-3050: Intermediate  Spanish Conversation/ Composition I

In this course, I developed my Spanish speaking and writing skills through

interactive conversations, structured writing exercises, and targeted grammar

practice. Emphasis was placed on vocabulary expansion, pronunciation

refinement, and comprehension improvement. The course incorporated written

assignments, language lab activities, and peer discussions to enhance fluency and

accuracy

JAPN-1020: Elementary Japanese

In this course, I built foundational skills in Japanese, focusing on basic grammar, vocabulary, and conversational phrases. Through speaking exercises, listening comprehension, and writing in hiragana and katakana, I developed essential communication skills.  

SPAN-3010: Spanish Composition for Health Professionals

In this course, I acquired medical terminology and language structures essential for effective communication in healthcare settings. Through written exercises and role-play scenarios, I practiced patient interactions, medical documentation, and culturally sensitive communication in Spanish. 

JAPN-2010: Intermediate Japanese

In this course, I expanded my proficiency in Japanese by learning more complex grammar structures and kanji. Through interactive dialogues and writing assignments, I improved my ability to express ideas in everyday and professional contexts.
